Wife of the late human rights activist, chief Gani Fawehinmi, Alahaja ganiat fawehinmi, has faulted the stance of both Coordinating Minister of the economy and Finance, Dr. Ngozi okonjo- Iweala and Minister of Education, Professor Ruqquayat Rufai, on the lingering industrial action by the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU.

Prof. Rufai had recently said that ASUU’s demand was too much and could not be addressed by the Federal Government.

Similarly, Dr. Okonjo-Iweala said the nation’s economy could not accommodate the striking lecturer’s demands.

However, speaking on an event organized by the Coalition Against Corrupt Leaders, CACOL, in Lagos, Alhaja Ganiat Fawehinmi said both ministers’ positions on the strike were unacceptable.
